Corn Maze

Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the corn mini-maze. Pumpkins from the pumpkin patch will be available for purchase during Corn Maze hours.

In an effort to reduce waste, printed maps will not be available at Corn Maze.

September- last entry and ticket sold at 6 p.m.

Events close at 7 p.m.

October- last entry and ticket sold at 5:30 p.m.

Last entry and ticket sold at 6 p.m. Event closes at 7 p.m. Only one trip allowed through the maze.

Event is rain, snow or shine.

You must purchase a ticket online for a specific date and time to visit. Tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 17. Tickets will not be available onsite.

 

-Please practice social distancing – staying at least six feet away from visitors not in your party.

-Municipal requirements for masks will be enforced.

-Visitors will not be allowed entry without adequate masks covering their mouth and nose, which must be worn at all times by adults and children 3 and over, except while eating or drinking.

-Halloween masks and costumes are not permitted on the premises.

Evenings al Fresco

Awash in the golden light of the evening, this collaborative series enhances the beauty of the Gardens with musicians, dancers and other performing artists from the SCFD community. Unlike a traditional concert setting, visitors strolling through the Gardens encounter small, socially distanced ensembles performing works designed to underscore and bring delight to their evening visit.

 

Denver Botanic Gardens is proud to partner with the following SCFD organizations to produce this series. Ticket sales from each evening will equally support the Gardens and the partner organization that is showcasing their work.

Free for children 2 and under (no ticket required)

Vinyasa, Violins and Vino

Yoga with a twist. Enjoy vinyasa yoga, live violin music and a picnic! Relax in nature as Blake Burger, certified instructor and Gardens’ horticulturist, leads an hour-long class in the Gardens. Conclude the evening with a bring your own picnic and music performance. BYOB wine and beer is permitted.

 

ONSITE PROGRAMMING

A limited offering of adult education programming will follow social distancing protocols, with advanced registration and seating in a room or outdoors with students separated by at least six feet and wearing face coverings.

 

 

Instructor: DBG's own horticulturalist and yoga instructor Blake Burger

Musician: Brittany Erickson is a classical violinist living in Denver, Colorado. She has performed chamber music and orchestral works across the country including with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, The Curtis Institute, and the Harvard University Orchestra. By day, Brittany is an educator who supports school districts to design innovative new schools, and in her spare time, she can be found enjoying the Colorado mountains or tending her vegetable garden with her partner, John.

Special Instructions: Please bring your own yoga mat, water, picnic and a beverage or adult beverage of your choosing. Please be sure to bring valid ID if consuming alcohol.

This is a rain or shine event, both the yoga class and picnic will be held under the clear tent and lights of the amphitheater. Class will begin promptly at 6:30pm, so please arrive early enough to get settled in.
