Superstition and Mythology of Aurora Owls

The Greek goddess Athena associates owls as protectors and the Hopi tribe see the burrowing owl as the god of death. Come learn about the owls native to Aurora and some of the mythology historically associated with them. We will be dissecting an owl pellet followed by a wagon ride to find owls!
