Birth Flower LED Lanterns – Family Maker Workshop

Saturday, May 05, 2018 - 10:00 AM

Running Time: 2 hours

Ends At: 12:00 PM

Floriography (the language of flowers) meets technology during this fun-filled family workshop. Did you know you have a birth flower? Flowers have had symbolic associations since ancient times. These cultural references have evolved throughout history and the “Language of Flowers” rose to prominence during the Victorian Era. Illuminate the secrets of your birth month flowers while designing an LED paper lantern. Enjoy creating and making with family and friends while working with our visiting STEAM artists, Monica & Tyler Aiello. Explore circuits and electronics, learn to solder, play with LEDs and discover together. No electronics experience necessary.

Price: $15 per person, please register all family members
