Join Lola’s Cocina for a delicious Day of the Dead cooking class while you learn about the tradition of building an altar that honors and celebrates a loved one who has passed on. Prepare some of the customary foods associated with El Día de los Muertos, and enjoy the fruits of your labor in a fun group setting.


Dolores “Lola” Dweck is the founder and publisher of Lola's Cocina, a food and travel blog dedicated to sharing Mexico's rich culinary traditions and cherished family recipes. She teaches themed cooking classes and recently launched Lola's Mercadito, an online marketplace specializing in gourmet and artisan goods that celebrate Mexican food and culture. Lola was recently recognized as one of Red Tricycle's Power Moms of the

Food World and Dieste's Everyday Latinas Making a Difference. She is a California native with a dual master's degree in business administration and in Latin American studies and currently lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with her husband Michael and their bilingual son Amado.
