Blossoms Of Light

Date Selection:When purchasing tickets online, you will be asked to select a specific date, however those tickets can be used on any night during the timeframe you selected.

Ticket Printing: You must present a ticket for admission to Blossoms of Light. Once your online purchase is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with a multi-page PDF attachment titled  Tickets . Please print your tickets! Members and guests without tickets will have to wait in the on-site ticket purchase line at the event to check in. Confirmations and receipts will not be accepted as proof of purchase.

Member Ticket Redemption: Members receive two complimentary tickets to Blossoms of Light and Trail of Lights. Online ticket redemption is required and you cannot use postcard as a ticket. After your ticket redemption order is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with a multi-page PDF attachment titled "Tickets." You must print all pages of this file for entry into the event. Members, if you have any trouble redeeming your complimentary tickets, please call the Membership Department at 720-865-3525.

Chipotle Sustainable Food Film Series - Eating Alabama

The Sustainable Food Film Series, presented by Chipotle Mexican Grill, includes four films relating to sustainable food practices, organic farming and community agriculture. Each evening includes food provided by Chipotle, a screening of the film, and a post-film panel discussion. In search of a simpler life, a young couple returns home to Alabama where they set out to eat the way their grandparents did – locally and seasonally. But as they navigate the agro-industrial gastronomical complex, they soon realize that nearly everything about the food system has changed since farmers once populated their family histories. A thoughtful and often funny essay on community, the South and sustainability, “Eating Alabama” is a story about why food matters.

GMO OMG director and concerned father Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers. How do GMOs affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice? Making Change

Island Earth is about a growing movement of people who are fed up with an industrial agricultural system that is reliant upon fossil fuels and chemicals.

By sharing Hawaii's struggle, the film aims to inform and inspire people to go beyond the issues and the activism and actually participate in taking back our food supply.

Film: Inhabit: A Permaculture Perspective

Inhabit is a feature length documentary introducing permaculture: a design method that offers an ecological lens for solving issues related to agriculture, economics, governance, and on. The film presents a vast array of projects, concepts, and people, and it translates the diversity of permaculture into something that can be understood by an equally diverse audience. For those familiar, it will be a call to action and a glimpse into what's possible - what kind of projects and solutions are already underway. For those unfamiliar, it will be an introduction to a new way of being and a new way of relating to the Earth. For everyone, it will be a reminder that humans are capable of being planetary healing forces.

Focused mostly on the Northeastern and Midwestern regions of the United States, Inhabit provides an intimate look at permaculture peoples and practices. During the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2013, film makers Costa Boutsikaris and Emmett Brennan documented over 20 sites in a range of rural, suburban, and urban environments. They explored a breadth of response to local and global challenges from issues of food, water, and medicine, to governance, economy, and culture.
