Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one weeks notice are non-refundable; please consider your payment a donation to the Gardens.

 

Plant to Plate Family Workshop Series

Ever wonder where your food comes from? Discover the many plants you eat while learning basic cooking skills and trying out a variety of kitchen tools to create delicious snacks. Each week we’ll explore the Chipotle Home Harvest Garden and harvest fresh herbs and veggies to prepare one or two recipes that are easy to repeat at home. The Plant to Plate Family Workshop programs are designed to help kids and families learn where their food comes from. Each week we'll focus on a different seasonal vegetable, harvest it from the Home Harvest Garden and prepare kid-friendly recipes in the kitchen. Learn basic cooking skills and kitchen safety while learning how to make garden-fresh snacks and meals. Family workshops are designed for families with children ages 4 - 10.

 

 

Workshop Series (all 8 weeks): $182 member, $203 non-member per adult/child combo. Additional adults or children can attend for $91 member, $105 non-member.

Gorgeous Greens: Friday, June 19, 10 a.m. – noon or 2-4 p.m.

 

Edible Petals: Friday, June 26, 10 a.m. – noon or 2-4 p.m.

A Taste of the Mediterranean: Friday, July 17, 10 a.m. – noon or 2-4 p.m.

 

Scrumptious Smoothies: Friday, July 24, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.

 

Sweet Treats: Friday, July 31, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.

 

Pizza Plants: Friday, August 7, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.

 

Super Salsa: Friday, August 14, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.
