Kid's Garden Camps

Grow your mind, plant a new friend and dig into the Gardens with our week-long day camps. Each camp contains a variety of activities that allow you discover the world of plants through art, science, cooking, gardening and outdoor exploration. Choose from a variety of different camps including one day Mini Camps held during school holidays and Week-Long Camps held at both the York Street and Chatfield locations. Ages 6-12.

 

Camp Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than three weeks prior to the start of camp are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than three weeks notice are non-refundable; please consider your payment a donation to the Gardens.

 

Aquatic Adventures at Chatfield Farms

June 19-23, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. • July 17-21, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Discover the wonders of water and aquatic habitats. Immerse yourself in nature along the banks of Deer Creek and the wetland ponds while observing frogs, insects and birds of prey.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members.

Late Pick-Up for Camp

  

Need a few extra hours added to the camp day? Let your child spend a few more hours at the Gardens from 4:00-5:30 p.m. We'll have a variety of games and activities your child can participate in with other children. Late Pick-Up is available for all Summer Camp Sessions at York Street. Late Pick-Up is not available for Farm Camp at Chatfield or Garden Explorers during Spring Break.

 

Please note that Late Pick-Up has a minimum enrollment of five children. Late Pick-Up may be cancelled if this minimum is not met.

 

Price: $50 per child

 

Life on the Farm at Chatfield Farms

June 26-30, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. • July 24-28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Care for farm animals, learn what it takes to make vegetables grow and explore the Hildebrand Ranch. Prepare snacks and discover how every ingredient is connected to the farm.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members.

 

Plant, Grow, Eat, Repeat at Chatfield Farms

June 12-16, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. • July 10-14, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Spend a week exploring the incredible edible world of plants. Learn how to grow, care for and prepare your favorite foods while having fun on the farm.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members.

Summer Camp: Art in the Garden

June 26-30, 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. • July 24-28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Awaken your passion for drawing, sculpting, painting, cooking, gardening and the art of science. Explore the art of Alexander Calder at the Gardens and uncover your artistic skills. Learn about the connections between plants and art through form, color and texture.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members. Scholarships are available, call for details.

After-Care is available from 4-5:30 p.m. for an additional $50 per week.

Summer Camp: Global Gardens

June 12-16, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. • July 10-14, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Travel the world at Denver Botanic Gardens! Explore plants, art and food from around the globe during this fun week of discovery.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members. Scholarships are available, call for details.

After-Care is available from 4-5:30 p.m. for an additional $50 per week.

Summer Camp: Potions and Plants

June 19-23, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. • July 17-21, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Join us for a week of magic, myth and mystery at the Gardens. Explore the connection between plants and potions. Concoct a plant potion and plant a magical minigarden to take home.

Price: $250 members, $270 non-members. Scholarships are available, call for details.

After-Care is available from 4-5:30 p.m. for an additional $50 per week.
